    STAFF

Nono & Kate Beale
The Beales have been serving in Mexico for 10 years. They are currently with Isaiah 55 Deaf Ministries in Reynosa where Nolton serves as the country director. Isaiah 55 is a grace-based ministry whose primary focus is evangelizing the Deaf, an unreached people group in the country of Mexico. This is done mainly through education. I55 builds schools, trains teachers and then provides a quality education for deaf children with the ultimate goal of sharing the gospel with the students and their families.                                                                                                                                                     Isaiah 55  also has the privilege of hosting work teams from all over the US and providing them an opportunity to participate in short-term mission projects helping the full-time staff with  not only construction projects but also in the various ongoing mercy ministries such as vacation Bible school, ESL classes, sports clinics, medical missions, and more.                                                                                                                                                       Another growing aspect of this ministry is the Biblical Studies program teaching both pastors and lay people in the city of Reynosa. The 2 national pastors on the I55 team hold weekly classes using curriculum designed specifically for us by Third Millennium.                                                                                                                                                                                                  The Beales are from Montgomery, AL and members of Trinity Presbyterian Church. They have 2 kids. Sadler is attending Texas A&M University. Bibb is married to Amy Cortese and finishing his degree in Business at Florida State University

Kimberly Kaiser
For over seven years, Kim has lived and worked on the Mexican border. She grew up in a Christian family in a quaint central Illinois suburb and later graduated with a degree in business administration from Texas Woman’s University.  Kim's role with Isaiah 55 is very fittingly administrative, managing the mission funds and performing a plethora of other tasks. She loves photography, color, art and nature, especially capturing life, people and places. Life in Mexico has afforded her with wonderful opportunities to record the journey and growth through still photography. One of her favorite things to do is visit the school and observe the radiant and expressive faces of the students as they bustle about using the sign language that has brought their silent world alive.

Erin Knobloch
I come from a big family and grew up on a farm in Iowa.  I became a follower of Jesus in high school.  I  graduated from Eureka College in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in English and Spanish.  Shortly after finishing college I moved to Mexico where I have been working ever since.
My main duties with Isaiah 55 are administrative/legal as well as coordinating projects and relations between the mission, Mexican government, volunteer work teams, the local community, and churches on both sides of the border.  When I am not in the office you can find me hanging out with a unique blend of friends or traveling.  My biggest desire is to understand Christ's love more fully and live out that redemptive love among the people surrounding me.

Erwin & Laura Lopez
In 2005 the Lopez family, originally from Monterrey, moved to Reynosa,  Mexico to be part of Isaiah 55 Deaf Ministries (I55) and Instituto Isaías 55, the school for the Deaf that I55 opened in 2006. Erwin is utilizing his   specialty in pastoral counseling, working with the families of the deaf students. He also works to network Isaiah 55 with other Christian ministries in the city to be more effective spreading the Word of God in Reynosa.
Erwin, along with pastor Moises Mendoza, is developing a theological studies program focusing on lay students who want to grow in their Christian education. He is also conducting an English as a Second Language program (ESL) in a alternative school where he is teaching a Christian values class as well. Another role for Erwin is coordinating with volunteers to host VBS projects in Reynosa, focusing especially on un-churched youth.                                                                                                                                   Laura is the director of Insituto Isaías 55, designing effective educational programs for deaf kids at pre-elementary and elementary level, since there is no educational government programs for the Deaf in Mexico.
Erwin and Laura have three daughters: Melissa, Sara, and Anita.

Moises & Alma Mendoza & Gerson
Moises trusted in Christ at age 11 and finished his Bible studies in 1996 at the National Presbyterian Seminary, Manuel D. Valencia, in Cd. Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was ordained as a pastor of the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico in June, 2003.  Since July of 2009 he has joyfully been part of I55’s effort to bring hope, through the grace of Jesus and His Gospel, to the deaf  children, their families, and the city of Reynosa.
Alma put her faith in Jesus while attending high school.  She finished her career as an accountant in 1998.  Alma and Moises got married in April of 1999, and their son  Gerson was born in July of 2000. Alma works at the school for the Deaf, Instituto Isaías 55,  as the administrative assistant. Moises helps in construction with the volunteer work teams that come to Reynosa.  He also is working with Erwin Lopez to teach biblical and doctrinal classes that pastors and lay people of different denominations are enjoying, because they haven’t had formal theological training.  Moises and Erwin are also counseling and sharing the Gospel with the parents of the deaf children.  Lord willing, through this sharing of the Word and showing mercy with deeds, God will raise new servant-leaders that will plant churches and start new ministries for the glory of God and for the redemption of the city of Reynosa.
